Our Story

Milk & Honey Swim is made in New York City and designed by Creative Director J. Givens. As a mixed woman who grew up overseas, I was able to see the world and appreciate cultural differences. Growing up in the East and the West, I've  embraced the concept to bring our worlds together and offer an eclectic range of luxurious and sensual styles you can wear in paradise.  

As a romantic at heart, I infuse tension along specific lines and curves as if Milk & Honey is holding on to you with loving embrace. Milk & Honey is timeless, regal, and while wearing it, you will be kissed by the sun.

Deeply influenced by my early years in Seoul, Korea, I started my adult career in Los Angeles to learn fashion, then moved to New York City to submerge myself into design, my destiny. I did not have millions in the bank. I don't have millions of followers, and was not funded by parents with unlimited cash flow. I started in a small room with vision boards, an imagination, and drive. My work is defined by impermanence, imperfection, visual economy, and intimacy.

Milk & Honey Swim is the North and South, the East and West, the dark and bright, the negative and positive, the good and the bad.  These opposing forces are complimentary parts and this interconnection defines us all. My journey has brought me back in full circle. This concept of dualism defines Milk & Honey Swim.
